Who gets up at 4:30 AM to make a car show 2 states away?? The Monte Hunters do!!

This week, the Team finds their way to Tallmadge, Ohio for the Summit Racing All Chevy Show.
Due to our camera Crew being on vacation, We had to revert back to our low tech digital cameras.

Caution Monte Hunters are at large again!!

Driving almost 3.5 hours and over 230 miles from the meeting spot, the Team rolled in at 10 AM
only to find out the rain had scared off a lot of cars. Just 5 Montes showed up for the show and
They bought 3 of them.

"East Down and Bound" And Yes Matt did play that song!!!

10 AM the team arrives!

NYMCC Represented in Ohio!! Normally a prime spot, but due to a lack of cars, we were still out
of the way

Not alot of cars, but they were all worth seeing.























Tim Says "how can we get a crate Motor home from here?"


Only 2 other Montes besides ours there...

Time for a snack, normal people size..

Then there is Matt's Size! "Bucket O Fries" He even kept the bucket!


And tried to steal Tim's fries!

The store displays were outstanding!



While Dave was checking out the latest in accessories,

Tim and Matt were attempting a little shoplifting! I was wondering why they asked if I bought a screwdriver...

Only a few Montes in the show, But other were spotted out and about.Along with some other classics..







30 awards, Top 20, Top 5, 2 kids Choice, 2 best of shows and a Memorial award.

Award Winning Rain car?? Yes it is! LOL!

It was fun to hang out with Bob again, and taking road trips with Tim is always a blast!
Plus we get to see cars that we don't normally see. The Team will be back next year and
maybe there will be more cars too!

Nice pics Dave! Looks like a pretty good turnout considering the rain. It's not quantity, it's quality, and there wer definately som quality cars there. Congrats to you and Bob on the awards. Good job.

It was a great time!!! And Bob We will be doing it every year as well! Maybe even in June with the Super Chevy Show just a few miles away.

Jay, Thanks! and there was quite a few quality rides there.

Matt, I hope you can make it too! This is one of those trips Tim and I get stupid goofy towards the end, LOL! Like a simple order at Wendy's and the place has to shut down to catch up, LOL!

And No worries about Not meeting up with us again, You sounded like you needed to get home and sleep for a few days, LOL!

Heh ... I have had a lot of sleep the last couple weeks or so ... but none of it very restful.
