I want to lower the front of my 87 Monte LS and they say the drop spindles for an 87 SS wont fit a diffenant suspention Im told...where can I get the right ones for an LS Ive tried Jegs but no luck...should I try something other than the drop spindles? Thanks for any help......

the spindles don't matter if it's a LS or a SS they're both the same

Maybe they sent me the wrong ones from Jegs because my tie rods didn't even come close to lining up and the upper A-arms were rubbing, they just weren't right and they were supposed to be for an 87SS.

All G-bodys take the same spindles as well as the 86-94 S-10s. Doesn't make a differance as to whether it was a LS or SS. You can get S-10 ones on Ebay rather cheap and they bolt right it, Just be sure to get it aligned right away. I have Bell Tech ones in My 86 SS and Ground Force ones in My sons 84 SS, And I installed other brands in Tim's and Matt's Montes without any issues. The only thing I found is leave the backing plates off, it contacts the Arms.

As for the tie rods lining up, It might, but the tires will be toe'd inwards. Tim's did that, But Matt's didn't for some reason.
