My Country 96.1 just launched last week, so far so good. Starting out with 10,000 songs in a row, NO COMMERCIALS!!!!!!

Sweet.  I had heard that NY didn't have a country station ... good to know that they do now.  Their website is a bit busy....

depends on what you call "old stuff" old twangy crap from the 60's+70's? no, but they play a lot of old Reba, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks etc.

They need to up the power, it fades out just west of my house

yes they need to turn up the power. Great signal at home but start losing it half way to work.  great music and no commercials....how do they do that??

Well, no, not that old ... but Reba started out in the early 1980s ... and Garth Brooks isn't heard from much anymore these days ... so, they are doing some old stuff, it sounds like.



Doc ... they probably are able to do that without commercials ... because they don't have much power ... and all of the ads on the website, which is still a bit busy, imho.
