ok here are some finished pics of that Chevelle i've been working on for the past few months off and on. it started out not needing much but the more i looked the more it needed. my friend said to fix what ever was wrong........ so here is a list. fixed the MSD wiring. fixed and rerouted the starter wires. added plug wire looms and re routed and cleaned all the over spray off the wires. found horn wire and cleaned painted and mounted the horns. put conduit on most of the wiring under the hood to clean it up. added mechanical guages- ran a copper line for oil pressure. car had the wrong direction cooling fan so i installed 2- 12" fans with a automatic controller.with a override switch installed as well. added a trans cooler. changed the trans pan gasket. painted the washer bracket and got a new bottle and ran new hoses. put a OE throttle cable on since the old one was hacked like you couldn't believe. changed carburetors since the JACKA$$ that put the other on the 4brls didn't work. the rear accelerator pump was hitting on the pipe he bent for the TH400 modulator line. plus it was way to much for the car. ran new vacuum hoses for the ac duct work. took part of the dash apart to find the ground wire the hack forgot to hook up for the wiper switch. fixed the wiper motor ground car had the wrong turn signal switch in it so i put a OEM one in. got the 4 ways working fixed the blower motor took the e-brake out to change the kick panel that i had to paint to match the car. fixed the new SS steering wheel only 1 horn button would work. fixed all of the dash lighting. added fuses to the every circuit that i added plus the ones the hack did that he had no fuses in. fixed and wired and mounted the center console. put glovebox and glovebox door on. put the panel back under the dash to cover the wiring and the carpet edge. added the front seat belts. drilled the floor and had reinforcments made to bolt the buckets seats down on both sides. drilled and added the rear armrests and the window cranks fixed drivers door latch/you couldn't get out of the car from the inside. drilled and installed the front armrests and the window cranks. added a fuel filter in line changed the brake booster hose to a braided one. added a breather to the rh valve cover moved the pcv to the lh valve cover and covered the line with braided material. changed the t/stat and housing for the hose to clear the ac compressor since it was starting to rub thru the upper hose. fixed the ac/ps belts and got new ones and routedthem the correct way. changed the alt pulley out to line up the belt correctly. fixed the lower windshield mldg cleaned the cowl and put the new cowl screens on. added new coil over shocks in the rear. added lock nuts to the gas tanks straps. found a lower rear mody mount and the bolt and washer gone so i replaced both rear lower mounts. fixed and cleaned the license plate lamp. added a tach. i think that's it for now, but i'm sure i missed something...
