Need a solid mechanic near dutchess or columbia county New York

Wanted to know if anyone knew of a good mechanic near Hudson,NY which is in columbia county about 40-50 miles south of albany and about 10 miles north of Rhinebeck. I am having my 88 SS shipped up from my Florida house to my New York house in a few weeks and will need to get some issues resolved regarding the charging system/alternator. Thanks for the help.
