New to the forums here. I found you guys on MonteCarloSS.com

 

Just signed up for Carlisle GM Nationals 2011.

 

I'll be bringing my 87 Monte SS Aerocoupe along with my buddy/co-pilot that's into Fords.

 

This will be my first Carlisle adventure bringing my own ride. I've been to a few Ford Nationals with my buddy and his Supercoupes.

And Crusher, Traffic on I-95 gets quite silly on the regular around here. Especially around exits 13, 14, 15 due to construction. The Mass Pike (I-90) isn't too bad, but might get congested as you get closer to I-93/Downtown Boston area. However, if you've ever dealt with Quantico Virgina/Washington DC area I-95 traffic, Boston traffic will seem like a cake walk!

Oh, and make sure you try "Tasty Burger" near Fenway Park. They're new. Its a restaurant built where a gas station used to be. Still looks like a gas station. Big Kahuna Burger is my recommendation...

Thanks for the info. The shore traffic here on that weekend is just stupid. Hoping most people will be heading away from Boston on Friday as I'm heading toward it. Not exactly sure which route I'm taking yet.

And yes, we all have ESP....

The worst time for traffic around here is between 3PM and 7PM. Especially on Friday. Plan your arrival time around that and you should be fine.
