Hey guys I have been searching for a long time now for another American car and I coudnt find one that was not rotted or blown up. I wanted a good starting platform. One that was registered and driveable.

I was very very picky. Well anyway I picked up a 1969 Ford (yuck) Torino GT with a 351w 4speed toploader. Now now I know what you are saying.... we cant have a ford drive with us well I understand. The car is very very clean and runs mint with no noises sqeaks or leaks. Only issue is a 6 x 6 piece of the floor pan rotted out. I talk to this older gentlemen who has been trying to sell it for awhile and he was desperate to get rid of it. He wanted $4000 and I offered $2k and snow removal and he said yes.

I will just fix the floor and sell it or trade it for an 80's regal or 72 or 79-88 monte. That is my goal. Pics soon.

Well, I'd like to say Congrats on the purchase, But it being a Ford, I just can't, LOL!

Actually, It's a fairly collectable car, I'm surprised you got it so cheap, even with the floor pan rusted, It should still fetcha good price, Good luck

Thanks. Its actually a nice car its just not what I want. I heard the old man was asking $5500 two years ago but then he lowered the price so that someone can get it out of his yard. He lives in NJ near a high flood area and during irene it was moved a few times and ended up at my friends neighbors house here in PA. The old man has not seen the car in a year because it was moved a few times.
