Without actually seeing the car and hooking up a scan tool to see if there are any codes or mixed sensor signals to the computer, it is very hard to diagnose an electrical issue. It is quite possible that the passlock system is malfunctioning. Best thing to do is to take the car to a well known repair shop in your area and have it checked out.
