I know this year is running out fast. Is anyone interested in making one last Junkyard run this year?

 

New Years Eve morning I'm off from work, And I think a Rochester yard trip would be fun.  Especially if it snows!

I would love to head out that way! But we would have to do it prior to Car Show season or post Car Show season. It would be hard to make a trip like that during the Summer months. It's only a 10 hour drive non stop. We could do it in 12 with stops.

If you're thinking of a 2012 adventure, I'd suggest prior to Car Show season ... since I'm PLANNING to be in NY post/late Car Show season....

Cort, We'll have to see how things go. I have a few projects that need to be addressed before I can make any road trips in the Spring. Matt, Tim, my son Matt and I usually start planning the years schedule shortly after the 1st of the year.


And If your heading up this way, let me know so we can figure out a junkyard trip around your schedule!

Quiet time? Somehow, I don't think that's the same type of "quiet time" that my Nephew has every afternoon...LOL.


Dave ... sounds good. Would be great if you could squeeze in a trip out here. As far as my schedule goes, I have a VERY tentative "outline". Not quite yet ready to post it (might do that next time around), but it is looking like it'd be best to do the trip in September, starting the weekend of Labor Day. I'd head south first, then back up the coast to NY and into Buffalo before heading to Pittsburgh, etc. IF it works out the way the "outline" is, I'd be hitting the Buffalo area the Wednesday after the week of Labor Day ... if that makes sense...LOL.

Sorry you can't join us Matt, Dave and Dave are out as well. So it looks like Tim, Matt, his friend Cam and I will be doing one last run!

Truck is all gassed up, oil topped off, fluids checked and tire pressures set, I sure hope this doesn't cost me another $40 in gas! LOL!

Well, Considering only one yard was open in Rochester, we had a blast! Matt and I ended up hitting M&M on the way home, wasn't as much fun without you guys, but Matt did get to test a hard hat.

Tim took the pictures, so it may take a few days, weeks, months maybe even years for him to post them, LOL!
