Just wanted to send a big GET WELL Wish to Mrs Doc. 

She is in NSLIJ Hosipital having a procedure done, and is doing very well!! Doc says she should be home in a few days.

Ok, here is what is going on. MD had to have double bypass on the 28th. Everything is going well now. She is out of icu and in a room now. Hopefully she will be going home in a few days. The Dr said she is doing well. MD and I wish you all a Happy New Year! She will be back posting soon.

Update.  MD is scheduled to leave the hospital Tuesday. They are going to have her do some walking today and tommorrow. If all goes well she will be discharged Tuesday. Yesterday she was much better than the day before. She is recovering nicely. She will be burning up the chat box when she gets home, I'm sure. LOL

My husband had an aortic valve replacement in August and is better than new now, so you will be better than new soon,.

Latest update. MD is doing well. The Dr. told her she should be going home Wednesday or Thursday. She is walking around (slowly) and getting better every day. She says Hi to all and thanks for the well wishes.

Glad you are continuing to progress in your recovery.  You will feel ssssooo much better when you get home!  I know I did once I was home after my open heart surgery.

Hi Everyone ...YES...it is me ... they finally sprung me, and I finally came home last night. Very very nice to be home, what should have been 3 to 5 day procedure turned out to be 11 days. The going is slow but it was nice to be able to sleep in my own house with no one waking me  every couple of hours.

 

I just want to thank everyone for all of your prayers and well wishes, this is what family is all about. Caring and concern..Thank you for everything, and hope to be able to see some of you real soon.
