the parts list officaly starts.

well, i've been getting the bug for building something else.. but my rule of thumb is dont start a project untill the first is done.

all i got to ask is.. why do i love this car this damn much to put this much money in to it?! no.. it will never be forsale so dont even ask.

anyway:

doors (they've been skinned twice alrady and the drains are totally clogged)

pass. quarter

floor(s)- this is totally up untill i pull the carpet up. i might just do the whole pan to be safe.

felt strips, both sides

bumperfillers front and back (guys i do need your advice on plastic or fiberglass. )

bumper strips front and back

new doors=new weather stripping. hope i can find NOS

rims/tires- this might be new stock gn rims or gnx rims..  i really like the toyo proxy's but not sure if i'm matture enough for them no

passanger fender (maybe... damn battery acid)

def. a battery tray.

ALL new emblems.

90% of the parts will be purchased from www.gbodyparts.com

the rest goes as following:

the car will be stripped 100% down to metal, all door jams will be painted, orginal stickers will be saved. as of right now the car will be painted by the same people who did romanski's LS LS1 for thoes of you who remember the car. the car will remain black BUT i want the deepest darkest black ever made. if i remember from when tommy had his car pantied that is acura black? as much as i'd love to use speechecker paint.. it might be a bit rich for my blood. a very good friend of mine sells PPG and PPG products so i can get that at a good discount rate. the parts gathering should start around june-ish.

if anyone has any suguestions i'd love to hear.

Sounds like you have a plan. And as to why you love the car so much? Cause it's a cool ride! As much as I have been pissed off at my SS, I will never sell it. Having it for 22 years, that car is a part of me at this point.
