2002 security, ignition, and fuel gauge issues.

I have always wanted a Monte Carlo, purchased a used 02 in November. In the last few months I have a few issues. The most major is that after having starting problems for the last two months, it now will not start at all. I used to wait 10 to 15 minutes and it would start, I have now waited for 5 days and nothing. Radio comes on, dashboard lights up won't turn over or start.

Security light is constantly on.

Fuel gauge moves up as i push on gas pedal, hard to tell how much fuel i have in the tank.

Security issue could be a bad or failing BCM or even a bad or failing ignition switch. Both would cause a no start issue

Could have a bad Instrument cluster as well, Best thing to do is take it to a competant repair shop and have it diagnosed. Electrical issues are really hard to diagnose over the net.
