I'm looking to gauge interest in a meet around here. I was thinking either at Bear Mountain State Park or at the High point memorial in New Jersey. Also open to any other places, looking for something kind of in the middle between upstate NY members and NYC/long island members.  Also posted this on montecarloforum.com.

I tried to get folks in for the Pine Island show last year but timing was bad...
Bear Mountain is ok, but not for a dedicated show. Are you thinking meet n greet or a show turnout?

Just remembered I'll have class Saturday mornings by June, so either we'd have to do a Saturday afternoon meet or a sunday one. Have to see what would work better. I'm thinking we will meet up in the bear mountain area and we can go up to Perkins Memorial Drive which has nice views of the river for some pictures. My main plan with this meet is to hopefully get some people up from the city and long island, as well as bring down a few people from upstate. Kind of in the middle.

Only reason I picked this date was I had already put in to have it off for something else that isn't gonna happen. I have a very difficult time getting time off.

I'll see how money is... If everything goes OK over the next two months its a 'maybe' Can't make promises though. Getting off LI is expensive!

unsure now if I'm making it...after 2 weeks of being back from a temporary leave the wife's job decided to fire her. I really don't know what to say....and yesterday she just lost $50 from her jacket pocket..one of her employees went fishing through her pocket for it in the break room.. What a lovely start to the week.
