Have a great weekend everyone!

Congrats Jenn. Hopefully you'll be better off financially.
JIm, I didn't think my co workers ever called you. I can't wait to see how he pulls his a$$ out of the fire tomorrow! I spent half this week fixing his come backs.

Oh I did!!! Dumb A$$ parked a car 3 deep when there was 4 open spots. A customer nearly hit the car backing out of the shop. I started on him so loud the Service Writer heard me and then tore him a new one! He then said HE got reamed because I said something. So its my fault. I wanted to lay him out right then and there!
Tomorrow will be fun, no boss and no service writer to save his A$$!!!!

Oh man!!! Today might be the final nail in one guys coffin!
The kid did front brakes on a Ford Exploder, but never tightened the left rear wheel. got a half mile down the road and it came off. Wrecked the rim, the quarter panel and the trim piece. Plus bent the wheels studs. I had to go and get the wheel back on during rush traffic!
I'm glad I don't have to fix it tomorrow. I got enough to do!

Jim that's what happens when you make a car washer a mechanic. He still has a job for now. But at least he was tolerable today.
But on a better note, I'm officially an Uncle!!! My sister had a baby girl this morning. Sydney Grace Forsythe 5lbs 11onces. I can't wait to torment this one!!! LOL!

it's about time Dave....lol
had a nice weekend doing nothing at a campground in NJ. took the monte up. the people in the place loved the car. one couple was videoing me and asked me to stop to take pictures. thought that was pretty cool. i did f up the back bumper backing in at my cabin and i hit the trailer hitch and scuffed the paint. it's not too bad.

A vacation!! I could go for one of those.... Extended weekends are nice getaways, but to actually go somewhere and just do nothing......... That never happens, LOL!
29 hours in 3 days and then had to sit in a training class tonight till 10. I'm shot! Hope to get this Taurus transmission job done 1st thing in the morning, then finish the BMW X-5 suspension and brake jobs, then the window regulator, door locks and the parking brake in the Sprinter Van. After lunch, I'm sure they will find more crap for me to do!

that's funny you'll do all of that before lunch....lol
Jim, I started at 7:45 this morning, knocked out the BMW's lower control arm, 4 sway bar links, front brake job and degreased it to find the oil leak. Went to pull it out then was told the oil change wasn't done and still needed a tire rotation. Did that and then spent a half hour trying to reset all the maintenance lights. Then installed the transmission in a Taurus, Went to pull the Sprinter in around 11 and found out that it was gone. Guess it comes back Monday. So I pulled in a Malibu and fixed the window, the rear wiper and the rear hatch release. Then a Starter in another Taurus and condemned a Saturn for 3 broken coil springs, a rotted Subframe and a broken tone wheel on the right front axle. Then took lunch around 1:15. After lunch I slowed down a bit and just did a few oil changes, a brake job and a fuel pump.
I don't have time to screw around like the other guys do. I need to keep moving or I get thinking of nasty things to do to the idiots I work with.
Tomorrow, I have a Grand Am that needs every brake line replaced, And the service manager is out, so I have to be in at 7 to get things moving.

Yeah, Today I slacked..
Didn't get to finish the Grand Am yet, pulled the old lines, bent, cut, flared and installed the new lines, still have bleed the brakes. I kept getting pulled today. Axle shafts in a Saturn Vue, a condenser in a Towne Car, a SkyJacker installed in a 2013 Silverado, Struts in a 07 Denali, a few oil changes and Inspections. Just too tired and sore to really put in an effort.
I tried talking my boss into paying us flat rate, He said it wouldn't be fair. I'd be the only one going home with a paycheck...
Cleaned the Interiors tonight, getting up early to get the cars ready for the show. Have a great weekend everyone!!!
