High Point Meet 5/10/14

Since the last 2 meets were a good success enjoyed by all, I thought we'd do it again in 2014! Plans are pretty much the same as in the past. Time will be decided later on.

The location will be off exit 53 of I-84 in Matamoras, PA in the Kmart parking lot/westfall shopping center. If you're coming from the west on 84, take exit 53 and make a right at the end of the ramp, the shopping center will be on your left. If you're coming from the east, take exit 53 off of 84 and make a left at the end of the ramp. The shopping center will be about a mile or so down the road on your left.

111 Hulst Drive
Matamoras, PA

Should not be a charge for admission as were doing it before Memorial day, only downside is some things might not be open like the monument. But surprisingly it was when we met up last fall, so who knows. Looking to have the best one yet. If anyone wants to stay in a hotel, let me know and I can recommend one nearby that we used last year and is nice.

You guys have been to chatterbox before? It's only 18 miles away from highpoint.  Decent food and plenty of cars.  Dinner pit stop? Or do you guys (and ladies), already have other plans? I missed the last meet to highpoint.

 Yeah we had a chatterbox meet last year in august, real good food and cool place!

For high point for lunch we go to Jakes Wayback Burger! if you haven't been, i promise you, the food their is amazing! :D

Just want to point out, there is alot of construction on I-84, anyone coming may run into traffic as you get close to Matamoras, hopefully this won't affect us too badly.

Yeah weather looks a lot like last year lol Last year we dodged thunderstorms all day as well, but they all missed us until the meet was coming to and end then we got hammered. so lets hope the same happens this year haha

I'm hopeful but if the roads are wet, my spooled rear has a mind of it's own in what direction it wants to travel. Never the same as the front wheels.
