Had a great weekend, Scotts show in DE was great, lots of nice cars, he ended up having to turn cars away!!!!
We have to do this again next yr!!!!!

Also went a looked at an RV we are thinking about buying for towing and camping.
We will know tonight whats going to happen.

All and all, it was a nice weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Well, angela and I now have a 28' RV Motorhome!!!!!! We won the auction, we will be going in Friday evening after work to pick it up!!!!

Dave that's how i felt about coming home from the last camping trip of the year. depressing to tow it home and not have anything going until next year.

Gonna work on the RV some this weekend.
Org. owner was a racer and used it for trailering to Maple Grove and other tracks, I found a 2nd trans. cooler, a monster, 2' x 2' with a 16" 2 speed fan setup mounted right behind the transmission, this RV has 2 tranny coolers in it, 1 stock and a huge aftermarket one!!! This is great!!!!!!!!!!!

New trailer 7way connecter and brake controller, and back up camera goes in tomorrow and TV goes in tonight!!!!!

Sunday we are taking the puppies and us for a ride out to Eastern LI for the day !!!!!!

Everyone have a good weekend!!!!!

Yard work!!! that's gonna have to wait till the rest of the leaves fall off the trees!!!!!

To the frame with cross braces then mount to that, 5" gap on top where fan is for air to pull in, the guy even made a diverted cover to direct the air flow.
Nice set up he did!!!!! And not a hack job!!!!!!!
24" sq heat exchange then there is a 18 x 13 tucked in front of the radiator, they are all plumbed together.

So you mean it is mounted behind the transmission cooler not the actual transmission? Good to see there are still some guys that do it right.....

Ordered new tires and wheels for the truck from Tire Rack. Had them in one day, mounted and balanced with sensors. Shipped from DE. Now that's service. Went to 18' rims from 22's. The ride was freaking horrendous with the 22's....Plus I'm not a fan of big rims on anything.

Well all, being that there are only about 4-5 of us that use this site anymore @ the end of the yr I'm thinking about shutting it down.

Never thought it would happen but FB has pretty much killed it off!!! As well as with alot of other sites that have died off.

any input from you all?

personally, I'd like to drop face book, and I intentionally spend less time there, but I understand your reasoning; you need to be where the action is to keep the NYMCC name alive. I won't say much over there but I'll be lurking!

What does it cost to keep it going? Does it take a lot of time? I'll miss it (especially the NEC) because the few of us that do use it find it entertaining I'm sure and a way to stay away from the other sites. I'll bet there a bunch of "LURKERS" that never post or post infrequently. Just the way it is. I just recently unfriended 30+ people from my Facebook that never participate at all. One was my "best person I know". Think I have another round coming up.....lol

I was looking for input, the up keep is minimal because of no site traffic or posting, the #'s have been going down monthly over the last 2yrs., we were @50k hits a month, but now down to 10-12 k, the cost is 19.00 a month, it may stay or go, One of the reasons for this post wa to get input from others.
Seems its the same 5 again!! We will see as time progresses.

Hi guys! I don't get on much at all anymore but do make the occasional "lurk". Life has been busy for the past year and a half. I now have a job that I am not working 60+ hours a week and am very much less stressed. Not working weekends anymore I hope to be able to go to more car events and enjoy life!

Jim - How are you?! Long time. Same to you Tommy! Tommy and Angela - congrats on the new toy! Sounds really sweet. I did make it to the Olcott show the end of summer and it was nice to see Frank again.

I see Dave and Tim sporadically but not as much as I would like to. Life happens I guess.

i winterized my camper this weekend and shut the water down in the shed and blew all the air out of the lines.

got the generator ready for winter.

Well, got lots done over the last week. Training classes are done for the year, Gram's house is done for the year. Matt's car is put away in storage, the garage is half cleaned, leaves are raked, patio furniture is put away, Matt's truck is ready for winter. Still need to pick up 2 tires for the Jeep and 2 for my truck, plus get the cap out of the yard and onto the truck. Damn foot has me set back a bit. Hope to finish that in the next week.

Should be able to jump on here more often soon.
